Somali Blogs and News Adds a New Team Member

Somchat.com would like to announce a new team member. Ahmed Said Olad joined the Somchat team after extensive screening by the management. He brings forward a unique portfolio of journalism experience and outstanding attitude towards our valued readers.

Ahmed is a student of BSc. in Mysore studying Computer Science at the University of Mysore, and he plans to pursue a Masters degree in the coming years. He has an excellent background in reporting the Somali news having worked at local radio stations in Mogadishu in the early 2000s. Now he is taking journalism classes as part time while he attends his full time BSc. classes at the University of Mysore.

Ahmed's responsibilities will include preparing and publishing Somali News in Somali language. He will also be the primary editor of Somchat.com as he will be refining editorial elements of our web pages. He will also be conducting many forth coming researches in the Somali media to bring our web site in parallel with the most popular websites of the Somali News category.
