Africa Rejoice! We Have Ghana Through to the Next round of FIFA World Cup 2010 - Ghana Vs Germany

Ghana became the first African country to qualify for the Round 16 of the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Germany vs Ghana match was one of the 2010 FIFA World Cup games many sports football fans watched closely as any mistake from the two teams could've dropped them out from the Round of 16.

Germany took a one goal lead early in the second half as Oezil - 8 - Missed a one-on-one chance early in the game, but made up for it later with an outstanding strike that sent Germany through to the knockout rounds. While his cutting through balls were not on show today due to the deep-playing Ghana defence, the Werder Bremen playmaker found a way to win the game for Germany.

From there on, the match was set for Ghana since all they had to do was keep Germany from scoring any more Goals. They defended well and counter attacked when they had the chance keeping the ball in Germany's half most of the game. This worked out well as Germany ended up finishing first in Group D, while Ghana finished second. This means Germany plays the mighty England, while Ghana play the hard working Americans.Somali News Videos - Somali Blogs - Somali News - Somali Videos - Somali Chat
